The Janor Device

In the 1980's, I was a member of a group called, "The Church of the Subgenius," a Dallas based group of satirists, and artists. In the early days of the Church of the Subgenius, the early 80's, I used to do a lot of improvisational comedy. I was often high on drugs (often psychedelics like acid).

People started calling my improvisational comedy, "ranting."

In 1984 Rev. Ivan Stang put together a compilation of my rantings and called it "The Janor Device." It's since been recognized as a classic in the field of avant-garde comedy. Ivan Stang called it, "the funiest tape in the Universe... the funiest tape ever!" One guy told me he had listened to it 300 times. Another friend told me people were duplicating it, and mailing it back and forth to each other, and that it had criss-crossed the country several times. Of course, this was in the '90's, before the internet was popularized.

I'm just now getting around to putting it on my website. So...

Ladies, and gentlemen... here it is, the funiest tape in the Universe... "The Janor Device."

In 2013, I appeared on "America's Got Talent" on NBC, the #1 show in the country! Unfortunately, I got booed off the stage during the interview!

I used to watch Mr. TV all the time, but then the networks went digital and my rabbit ears don't work anymore.
